This Machine came from Willie's shop. Willie was a master woodworker in Brooklyn, New York. He bought the grinder new in 1946 along with a 1340 HD Delta Shaper and 10" unisaw and other jaw dropping machines. He had the best tools money could buy and vigorously maintained them. His shop was one of the most amazing I have seen. He built a box for every tool he owned - Cabinets for things that wouldn't fit in boxes. It was like a time capsule. After he passed away his daughter emailed me to see if I might be interested in some of his machines. I bought what I could afford and helped her sell the remainder on OWWM. She wanted to make sure the machines went to individuals who would enjoy and maintain them as much as her father did. She came to the right place.
No doubt, Willie was watching.
