This drill press was my grandfather's, who was a self employed machinist. This was in use until his death in 1974, and one of a few smaller pieces of equiptment which was kept. This past winter, I had some aluminum I needed to cut, went to his shop to use his bandsaw, and decided between the bandsaw, a belt/disc sander and the drill press that they had been virtually just existing with no use for the last 35 years and deserved to be gone through. I think this was close to his Bridgeport, coupled with the fact he loved oil. Once apart, it was amazing to see this was in very good shape. Overall, I'm close to having this ready to put to use.
