Saw this RAS on coast highway #101 just south of Bandon, Oregon on Monday. As I am casually looking for a medium or long arm for my GE, I thought I'd stop and see what the fellow was asking for it. I was quite surprised to find an R-2, Dewalt's sliding arm RAS that as I understand, was very limited in its production. The machine seemed to be all there with no real damage other than sitting out in the coast rain. The arm even tracked end to end, although the bearings are surely needing replacement. Cool old saw. As it is not something I am interested in having, I snapped some pix for posting and moved on.
