The little 10" Delta Homecraft band saw was on C*List for $35. Now, I really did not need another bandsaw, but I guess it would look nice standing next to its 20" and 14" siblings. So, why not go for it. By the time I arrived to pick it up, (1 hr after posting) the seller said he had 4 other people waiting in line for it.

It is in good cosmetic condition and complete. Based on the s/n AA-2329 it dates to 1951. It came with a 1/3 horse Dunlop motor and wooden base. The bearings, bushings, tires, etc. will need the usual attention.

Interesting that the base it is on appears to be made from the plans listed in the 1950 Delta Homecraft catalog. All the dimensions are pretty close to the plans. It was also made when dimensional lumber realy was 2x4, 2X2, etc.

Price new was $44.95 and $2.95 for the light option.
