Comments:
Another machine acquired from the mental hospital in Poughkeepise,NY.This Yates American saw is not really a radial arm saw or is it a swing saw but better described as a pivot arm straight line cut off saw. This saw was one of only two in the wood shop that wasn't taken apart by the vandals.Another unique
feature of this saw is it also can cut miters 22 1/2 degrees right and 45 degrees left.I have another G-44 that only cuts 90 degrees. The new saw is 5 h.p.,220/440 volts,3 phase, which is the only machine in the wood shop that is three phase(every other machine is two phase).I took pictures of both machines so you could see the differences between them.
