My first OWWM and first 3ph equipment. Bought ~1997 from someone in Columbia, SC for $2K. He had around 12 buildings of junk and cars, looked to be a trader. I checked it over, loaded it up and took it home. Someone had jammed a forklift under the table and busted part of the table roller quick adjust. I originally used capacitors to start it until I exploded one (11 sec start cycle on a 3 sec cap). Eventually made a RPC using a 7.5 hp motor. Finally found a grinder bar and the grinder and jointing attachments. It has a 5 hp belt driven motor. I have dressed 20" teak with it--7.5 to 10 hp would work better.
