I purchased this from another owwm'er, jj, and Andy Houriet ruckered them to York PA, where we exchanged ownership. I restored the machine itself in a few short hours. It received new bearings from Accurate. They are really a very simple machine. The paint I chose is spray can Krylon, True Blue. It comes pretty close to the original. I decided to make an MDF stand for the machine. Since Craftsman didn't make a sheet metal type stand for these I saw fit to have artistic license to construct a stand and "C" badge of my own design. I used the letter from other craftsman machines and simply expanded the size for my design. I looked through the index and didn't find exactly what I wanted for the stand but some of the older Powermatic stands came close, so I modeled it somewhat from them. I had the paint store mix some latex to attempt to match the True Blue, they came pretty close, but the difference between brushing and spray application shows a bit of a shade difference. The cabinet is 20" wide by 30" high, and 16" deep.
