I bought this machine from a closing shop in Port Jefferson, NY. Not a bottom feeder price, but the machine appeared to be in very good shape. Jeff at Northfield tells me that because this is an X36-AF model, it is the same saw he makes today, with minor changes to ther motor, electric, etc. The F at the end of the model number stands for the company who actually used to make the saw for American Sawmill Machinery, Frick. I bought several parts from Northfield for the saw,and built a new table for it.

The saw cuts very nice, has lots of power, but the rebuild was not cheap.
