Bought this with a bandsaw off of CraigsList in Gettysburg, PA. This and the bandsaw where sold to me by the granddaughter of Robert Lee who was the great grandson of Gen. Robert E. Lee. It was brought to Gettysburg after the passing of Robert Lee. I did a quick restore leaving the original bearings ( still fairly smooth) in place. The spindle bearings have an extended race that has two notches to engage a collar both on the bottom of the spindle and a collar toward the top of spindle. Both pulleys are damaged but useable. The front pulley has the top (smallest) pulley too broken up too use but I do not see a need for 5000 rpms anyway. The motor pulley has a piece broken out of the smallest pulley (lowest speed) but is still useable in this speed.
