Aquired at an antique store for $24, no history. It has not been restored in any way, it really didn't need it. Machine was complete except missing the Disc attachment. I cut a 12" Shopsmith disk down to 9" which works well. Initially the bearings were nearly frozen but a few drops of oil and it spins like a top which leads me to believe it had not been used for a long time. There was still paint on the platen so it had been very little used. No badge or markings of any kind are evident but thanks to Brian Hartman in http://www.owwm.com/photoindex/detail.aspx?id=8618 I am now sure it is Dunlap.

Detail of roller support knuckle. Pretty fancy for a cheap sander.
