Richarson Meriam & Co "N0 6 CHAMPION MOULDING MACHINE". 1875 RM&Co catalogue states that the machine has slotted wrought iron cutter heads with cast steel arbors. Side head arbors "can be set to any desired angle". To work stock up to 15 inches wide by 5 inches thick. Weight 5100 pounds. This great old machine has been exposed to the elements for years at an abandoned saw mill. Minor breaks, but substantial corrosion to the cutter heads etc would make this a difficult restoration. Could this be the only extant example?
