I purchased this saw from an elderly gentleman who was selling off his shop. It was in working but a bit rough condition. This saw was originally a metal/wood working saw. The four-step pulley and arbor had been removed and the saw was being used as a woodworking machine. I took the machine apart, cleaned, sanded, primed and painted the previously painted parts. The galvanized, chrome and pot metal parts were cleaned and polished. I replaced the four-step pulley on the motor which had the smallest pulley broken with a single 3.5" pulley. The original 7" pulley on the saw is still used. The wheels and tires were in good condition. I made covers for a motor access door on the back of the saw and for 7" x 7" opening in the top of the base to keep saw dust out of the base. I constructed a simple fence using oak and t-track with a MDF fence. This may get upgraded in the future.
