I have gotten a little carried away with the drill presses of late. This drill press came from a surplus store in Cleveland.I have seen other 11" drill presses, but not one with this combination of badges. It was originally purchased from a company in Dayton who placed their tag on the headstock. This machine is equipped with a motor made by Doerr. It is in such good shape that I may not even paint it.This looks suspiciously like an earlier Homecraft line machine with a minor facelift, but it performs like a champ. This will replace my Walker Turner 900 as the dedicated mortiser. That way, I'll only have three drill presses, which sounds about right.
