Purchased this machine on Craigs list. I had been looking for a metal lathe with some age and this one fit the bill. I like the bench it came with and the Dunlap grinder is an added bonus. It needs some work but should be restored with out much trouble. In reserching this unit I have only found one other like it and it dosn,t have the metal lathe option. The steel bar weys seem to diferenciate it from every other craftsman lathe I have reserched or compared it to. I believe it was made by Atlas for Craftsman/Sears. ( I had some help on the history from this list, Thanks )

Check out the nice not to beat up numbers. This is the only alluminum/alloy piece on the slide. I lucked out no damage.
