Purchased this machine from Michael Thompson in Portland in unrestored basket case condition. It was a c-list purchase and was remarkably complete needing only the table pin. I gave it a good cleaning and polishing along with a new paint job, new bearings, ureathane tires and a new throat plate. Used what I believe is a period correct GE 1/3 hp sleeved motor. I also added a ret. lamp after polishing it. I was able to save the patent decal on the rear of the frame although I do not show it here. The machine runs like a sewing machine and even with a std belt I can balance a new quarter on edge on the table while the machine is running...The red paint is the danger areas and is habit from days when I was a shop teacher. ( this may in fact be an earlier model 768 but there are no holes drilled in the al wheels)
