The first woodworking machine I ever bought, probably about 1976, from a local dealer for $200. This machine had been owned by the Conneticut Dept. of Education according to the property tag but that is all I know about that aspect. This machine is missing two of the upright columns that hold the table, as well as the router holder trunnion. I am confident that something can be made up to take their place if originals can't be found, but with so few of these machines around I doubt I will ever find a donor machine.
This machine had been out of my possession for about 6-7 years and moved around and taken apart and stored which explains missing parts. The only reason for it not being used was that the original Stanley router just completely died and no other router would fit it. Of course with this web site and the internet in general that shouldn't stop anyone from finding one now but 15 or 20 years ago when it happened it was a big deal.
I am going to try to get it back together as completely as possible so feel free to contact me with any help.
