I picked this beauty up from a closed woodworking shop in Long Island in April of 2008. Honestly, I initially wondered why I brought it home. It required a full restoration right down to the motor. It was used quite a bit and not well cared for. Basically, the machine was in the ugliest shape I've acquired to date. You'd have guessed that before it rolled off the assembley line they gave it a good finish coat of salt water. It has all original parts except for the spring hold downs which I have recently acquired. I prefer to use the new magswitch plastic holddowns (not pictured) rather than the original holddowns however - they are alot safer! I just happened to stumble on an local CL HTC base that fit like a glove and painted it orange. Although this might be considered a gateway shaper - it is a heavy operator. Probably overbuilt for it's intended user. In otherwords, I love it.
