This machine was found in New York and restored by AMERICAN MACHINE of Shelby NC. It is unique because the flat belt drive pulley is mounted inside the frame casting. This feature permits the wheels to be mounted on the right side or the left side of the frame. The table and blade guides are also able to accommodate right or left wheel mounting. The table is mounted on 2 cast iron trunions and has a babbett "blade insert" Although each individual part has what appears to be a stock number cast into it, I have not been able to find a model number. The words CRESCENT MACHINE CO. LEETONIA OHIO USA are cast into the frame. Any help from members in dating this machine will be appreciated.
