A friend of my father bought an old house in Atlanta about 20 years ago. This saw was left in the basement with a burned out motor. The previous owners had used the saw to renovate the house. My Dad, smelling a deal, bought the saw from his friend for $100. He put a 1/2 hp. rockwell motor on it and used it mostly as a work bench, cutting things here and there with it. I moved the saw into my basement and upgraded it to a 1 hp. craftsman motor. The saw is extremely heavy. It is one of the King Seeley made cabinet saws in the original Power-Bronze color.
