This was my grandfather's lathe that has sat unused for probably 25 years or more. Physically, it was in pretty good shape...a couple layers of paint needed to be removed before repainting though. I used Krylon True Blue because I read it was a close match to the original color (used RustOleum primer as a base). Best I can tell it is a 1942 model. My grandfather likely did not buy this new since he was in the war around that time. I finally got it back up and running on February 7th, 2009. Thank you to all that helped with advice!
