Acquired summer 2007 on a tip from a fellow OWWMer. Apparently an early machine, as it has no serial number tag, nor holes where one might've been. When purchased it had a small non-original 1/4 hp motor, no belt guard or switch rod. I had been keeping my eyes open for an appropriate motor, etc., until I unexpectedly chanced upon a nice 6" Delta jointer with the CI base, so it became time for this one to move on. Bums me out, because I like the pre-war Delta machines, but I don't have room for two.
