My father told me this story about this machine.
Before I was born in 1957 he bought the saw used and had the motor rewound as 220v.
He used it extensively to build the first house I lived in as a child. The saw has seen duty on at least 3 other major house projects. My dad had used the saw till the year 2000 when he bought a dewalt 12" silde compound miter saw. He offered the saw to me and I was more than glad to take it. It is really heavy. I'd say appx. 250#. Now the saw is in line to be refurbuished. New paint a new blade guard etc. It will see duty next in my shop now.

I say 10"? due to the fact that I have serched this data base and others and have not seen any old dewalt saws that are 10".
Any information on this saw would be appreciated. Thanks
