Found this machine on Craigslist. It was complete except for anti-kickback and was bought from a fellow who made airplanes. It came with the original Rockwell casters. The paint was fair, the table top was original, motor bearings good, but the carriage bearings were running rough.
Sorry, but the rebuild pictures are somewhere, on some hard drive yet to be found again. The saw was completely torn down, sawdust blown out of motor, cast iron spooged, wire brushed, primed and painted with SW. SW matched one of the undertones colors on the motor, a grayish green. I decided not to paint the motor. The carriage bearing were replaced, and as a side note, I found it easier to adjust the bearings with the weight of the motor removed and just the carriage installed. The bearings were snugged up until they could not be turned by hand.
The table was replaced with 3/4 inch mdf top on a base of 1 inch laminated particle board from a desk. A few pictures were attached on how the table was trued.
