Comments:
Got this machine from a friend of the family. It was kept in their basement so it was in really good shape for its age. The original owner built the cabinet for this lathe to sit on. He also built an extension to the front left corner of the cabinet. You can see an angled piece of metal there. This was for a tool rest. He put a faceplate on the outside of the lathe and used his home made tool rest. See the last picture. I have the faceplate that he used there, as well as the homemade tool rest. I think this was done so that he could use a larger faceplate, like the one that is resting in the back of photo #1.

Comments: This is the large cabinet that was built for this lathe. All wood - very heavy.

Comments: The motor sits on a home made base that can tilt forward to change belt positions easily. The square bolt in the back is what is used to keep it in place after the belt is changed.

Comments: This is a close up of the outside faceplate and the home made tool rest. I haven't used it yet, so I don't know if it works that well.
