Bought at resale shop 2002. Plugged in and motor smoked, outlet sparked and lights went out. Got it for next to nothing. Motor to salvage yard - of washing machine pedigre. Blasted, painted and currently used as my arbor press. Jacobs No. 3 chuck was included.

Update 1/2018. The DP has now been ID's as a No. 40 from Atlas catalog 8, 1934 which shows use of alien logo as well.
