Comments:
Picked this up from a local internet listing. It had sat on a basement floor for years, apparently in water sometimes from the rust on the base and motor shaft. It had an oversize single-groove motor pulley, which I was able to replace with a correctly sized flat pulley made by another owwm member. New bearings all around, some paint, and mounting on a small Delta flare leg stand I was using for a grinder, and it's good to go. I also bypassed the motor switch, and brought the start and run winding leads to a new drum switch for easy reversing. The 1/2 hp motor is also original, though I suspect it's a bit underpowered for all but the smallest cuts. Paint is Sherwin-Williams DTM Acrylic with custom vintage Craftsman color.
