Delta jointer, Model 37-315, 8" long bed jointer. I purchased this jointer from a government surplus auction in Nov '07. This jointer had been stored outdoors for some time, as you can tell from all the rust. Some of the moving parts were pretty much rusted in place. Infeed and outfeed tables needed lots of WD40 to get them to move. I did a complete restoration of this jointer. It was completely disassembled and every piece was cleaned of rust in an electrolysis bath. The spooge bath effectively removed all the rust, much to my surprise. I replaced the bearings and the knives, replaced the original 220 volt/3 phase motor with a Dayton 115 volt/single phase motor.
