Except for some looseness in the gearbox and a worn clutch lever, this one seems in pretty good shape. The Peerless 2 hp motor is very cool. Mounted as it is the thing is pretty top heavy. I plan to fabricate a nicer base for it.
Update 3.6.2012
Planer now has a better dimensioned base, locking casters, a magnetic starter, and 14 oz of NLGI #1 grease in the gearbox. Still a great planer.
