$50 off Craigslist. The motor it came with is not original and rated at 1-1/2hp. As you can see in the photo, the motor pulley is much too big. When I started it up before buying it the sound was like an airplane taking off. I haven't tried that again.
Update 1-16-2011
jointer is now in use. I made a flare-footed stand out of lumber I found in various dumpsters, swapped in a better sized (3/4hp) and slightly more period correct Repulsion Induction motor, cleaned up the machined surfaces and installed new blades of the correct thickness.
