I got this small lathe at an estate sale. I've never used a lathe before and bought this one just to work on and clean up. When I got it home, I found it to be in great shape. All I did was take it apart, clean up some surface rust, lubricate it, wire brush it, prime and paint it. I also got a old craftsman motor with it. The motor is 1750 rpm 1/3 hp # 115.7121. The motor just buzzes when it's switched on but I can push in on the shaft and it starts and runs fine with no vibration at all. I may make a stand for it but haven't decided if I'm going to keep it.

This is the old motor that I got with the lathe. Runs great after I give it a kick start.

I decided to mount it on a Craftsman stand I had and use a Dayton 1/2 hp 1750 rpm motor
