Comments:
Found the machine listed on Craig's List in St. Louis. Seemed to run all right when I looked at it, seller said the motor had been rebuilt. When I brought it home, it bogged down when cutting wood, not good for a 2 HP motor, yet it didn't pop the circuit breaker. After some investigation, found the 115/220 switch on the motor selected to 220V, yet the plug on the cord was for 115. Swapped the plug to a 220V plug and used a 220V power source and it ran great. There was a lot of aluminum and brass to polish on this one, but well worth the effort. The only unusual thing about this saw is that the cabinet had never been drilled for the Delta emblem on the upper left front, hence no emblem.
