I have always felt bad that I have never contributed to this site, so when I got this sander and reliazed there was only one other on the site it gave me the motivation to put it up.

I bought this from a concrete contractor for $100 when they had a sale to get rid of some of there clutter. The owners father built rocking chairs and he used the sander on the legs. It had been sitting ever since his dad died collecting dust for years before he decided to get rid of it. You can see from the second picture he had curved piece of wood on the table so the belt would follow that curve and he could sand the curved legs of the chair.

Since these pictures I have taken it completely apart and painted it with some equipment gray spray paint, built a new stand, made a new table,have gotten new graphite pads, and got 80 and 120 grit sanding belts. I think they where 4" X 80". I will put up new pictures soon.

The motor is a Dayton 110/220 1700 RPM and it ran like a charm as soon as I pluged it in.
