This saw belonged to my father, I bought a new one a few years ago, when he offered to trade me I couldn't saw no. This was the first woodworking machine I ever used, I was probably 8 or 9 years old. My father cashied in an insurance policy in the early 50's. He bought this, a 6" Delta jointer (which I also have) and a 10"-13" K-line planer.
We used this in his cabinet shop before we replaced with a 14" Powermatic.
I'm not sure if I want to re-finish it, I think I will leave it as is.
