Hey all -

I bought this machine out of the upper mid-west from a real nice guy. I really paid way to much for it, but I wanted one of these and I looked for a long time here in the Pacific NW to no avail ... this is what I ended up with. The sander came complete with 11 spindles but it does not have a 1 3/4" which is standard--if anyone has a spare, please let me know.

Pay careful attention to the detail of the packaging--there aren't many which are done better to protect the machine. I really appreciated the extra effort and attention to detail he put in on making the coffin, er shipping box.

This machine is a single phase unit and a complete motor rebuild has started. Its amazing how much saw dust can get packed into the motor casing. I'm using orange citrus stripper on this job. You still need to wear a good pair of disposable gloves--it can eat your skin. :)

I'll update photo's from time to time as the restoration continues.

Comments: TIP: If you buy OWWM and need it shipped, always buy from a fellow OWWM'r -- they pack it like its their own!

Comments: Lots of work, this is my first go with Citrus stripper, I like it because it seems more "eco; green". This is as far as i've gone with this unit, i'll update pictures when i get further into the restoration.
