This saw was in the process of being discarded from a school shop when my father-in-law "liberated" it on its way to the dump. He said he spent $20 on parts and gave it to me because "everyone needs a table saw". I have had it for about 25 years. It originally came with a fixed motor mount and a sliding pulley on an aluminum hub to allow the motor to remain fixed while the arbor tilted. When i got it that hub was loose and rattled. I replaced it with a motor mount attached to the arbor carriage and let the motor tilt with the arbor. It still has the original Rockwell motor, a huge 1 HP 110/220 volt. The table insert shown has been in use for all the time I have had it, and is made of plywood (not an original part). More inserts have been made when zero clearance inserts are required. The fence locks at both ends. A router table has bee attached to the right side to allow the same fence to be used. This saw is in regular use. The little one in the background is shown in a different post.
