Model 30 Powermatic 12" Disk / 6X48 belt sander Manufactured in 1974. I picked up at a school auction and it came with the normal school environment abuse. It got a complete sandblast, paint and bearing job. Paint was Rustolium hammered metal green the stripe was done with white pinstripe tape and white spray paint. The platen was in poor shape, I used Lab Metal to flatten it back out and added graphite cloth to prevent the wear in the future. The original belt fence was missing and after searching for an original without success I fabed up a corian facsimile which has worked out nice. Dust collection is a diverter box which has a diverter for the disk and the belt with the ability to shut off one or the other. Opening one at a time helps increase the dust collection.
