My father picked this up for me from an old cabinet shop. It had a homemade plywood cover over the belt and a quarter inch of overspray of contact cement all over it. Two gallons of laquer thinner and a weekend later I painted it to match my compressor, I didn't find this web page yet, so I didn't paint it back to factory, and I drilled a hole in the side to add a switch, kind of regret that now. I completly disasembled the drill, rewired the motor, added a switch and made some of the missing handles from other drill presses. I don't really know what the exact year of manufacture is but I don't have a spring tension adjustment on the left side of the cast iron head. The serial number plate is not anything elaborate as I have seen in other photos which leads me to beleive it is a later model.
