I acquired the saw with the help of fellow member John Toigo. He had already made a deal for it, then when he heard I was looking he offered it to me. He found it on Craig's list. It came from the Reading Pa. area. It was set up as a metal cutting saw with a 20:1 reduction gear box. The previous owners father had it for many years with plans for using it but never did. Then he passed away so the son had it for a while till he decided to sell it. The babbitt bearings on the lower shaft were not properly lubricated so the shaft was ruined beyond repair. I'm having a new one made at this time.
