Purchased table saw from C/L. Previous owner said he was 8 years old in 1947 when his Dad brought this home from Sears in a box. He inherited it when his Dad passed away. Saw came with a GE 1/2 HP, 1725 rpm motor, with a 3/4 inch dia. shaft. The motor weighs 45 lbs. Before picture of saw and motor enclosed. Spent about 3 days restoring it. Used Rust-oleum Spray Cans, Charcoal Gray Gloss Enamel # 7784, and Rust-oleum Satin Black on some parts. It is a tilt top table saw and all the adjusting hand wheels work smoothly. This a neat compact little saw and does the job. Next I will find a nice metal table to mount it on; then on to the next project. I love these old dependable machines.
