Bought this machine off of C/L. It was in good condition mechanically, but needed some cosmetic touches. Painted it with Rust-oleum Charcoal Gray Gloss Enamel # 7784 from Home Depot. Machine came with a GE Motor, 1/3 HP, 1725 rpm with a 1/2 inch dia. shaft. These old machines really stand the test of time, and I can't believe the durability of them. We are now in the "throw-a-way" generation where if something breaks it's cheaper to toss them and buy a new one. Seems like todays thinking on manufacturing is on Quantity rather than Quality. I'm glad the manufactures in the the earlier years of these machines had their sights set on Quality or these old machine wouldn't be around for us to enjoy today.
