Comments:
This machine was acquired from Powell Door, Portland, Oregon in 1983. It was not in use. They had stopped making millwork, choosing to distribute instead. It has been used heavily since. It is best suited for running sash and door stiles and rails. Top head accommodates a slightly wider throw than other American sash stickers making it useful for cap moulds, etc.. Most small mouldings can also be run on this model but the American No 2 1/2 is superior for that purpose.
The bottom head acts somewhat as a jointer, making this tool useful when running gang ripped s2s stock, or irregular edged, s2s stock. Open yielding feed works allows a great deal of stock irregularity.
