The machine was originally purchased and used by the Illinois Traction System (Illinois Terminal Railroad) for use in their Decatur IL car shops. In mid 1950's it went to a private shop in Decatur. In Sept 2008 acquired and currently at Illinois Railway Museum, Union, IL
