My dad bought this machine new and with his brother, used this and other Sprunger tools to build a sailboat. He used this machine for years, and it has sat in his basement shop for the past 20 years after his death. I acquired it about 2 years ago and had to completely redo the saw. I had to put all new bearings in it, new tires, rewind the motor, sand and repaint it. The stand was homemade, including the start switch. I had to rewire all the electrical cords etc. (The main problem was that my dad's workshop has had a lot of water in it in the past 15 years.)
