I picked up this 4" jointer with a lot of other tools - like I need another jointer, especially a 4" - however it is interesting comparing this one with the Homecraft jointers already in my possession. It looks like the base casting was changed at first glance, but looking at the back of the fence it is also different, with supports extending horizontally much like the very early 6" Delta jointers. No mention of Delta anywhere on this one - it's all Rockwell, however some of the castings still have the original part numbers embossed on them.
