No tags either from manufacturer or seller could be found. However the saw is identical to that in the Silver Manufacturing catalogues of 1911 or 1916 on this site. The saw was purchased in Calgary from a custom metal fabricating company after it had been advertised for a year. It had been converted to a metal cutting saw with a geared 3PH 108RPM motor driving the wheels. Non original shrouds and covers were junked and many layers of paint stripped off by hand. Presently it sits protected with a clear coat waiting for a blade guards, a wheeled base, motor and remachined shafts. I am considering repouring the babbitt bearings that someone replaced with brass sleeves. I am also looking to replace the bottom wheel that seems to have been recast. New tires and guides have been purchased.
