Comments:
I bought this saw in Chicago. It is a 16", 1 horse, 3 phase band saw. It is gear, not belt driven. The motor bolts directly on. I mad a redneck 3 phase converter with a 3 phase motor and some oil filled capacitors. It is hard to track since one bolt sets the blade guides and the thrust bearing setting. A larger motor would be nice for sawing through thick stuff. Still, all in all, it is durable and smooth.
