Comments:
This was my third jointer, and it was a wonderful machine. I picked it up at a used equiptment dealer in trade for three old cast iron "boat anchors"-my Baxter jointer, a mortiser and a tenoner. When I got it, it still had its original square head. Since the cutterhead carrying casting was seperate from the main bed it was a snap to mill off the babbitts and replace the cutterhead with a Parks planer head running in pillow blocks. I never would have parted with this jointer if the big Oliver type B hadn't come crashing through the window (so to speak).
