This saw belongs to Bruce Mosher of Cincinnati, whose shop - including this bandsaw - is currently in storage.

Wheels are 26" in diameter, bearings are Babbitt, body is a single-piece casting. The name is painted rather than cast, which is often an indication that someone else actually made it. But Frank & Co. did, in fact, make this saw; perhaps they did not cast their name into it because they did a lot of OEM work for other brands.

The second picture shown is from an 1879 issue of "Manufacturer & Builder", and shows Frank & Co.'s "Eureka" bandsaw. The wheels are somewhat different, but the rest of the saw is a very close match to Bruce's saw. I assume that Bruce's saw is somewhat later, but the 1890 date is really just a guess.
