Bought this from a guy who was a friend of the family of the original owner. No other history than that. Nice shape overall, nothing broken. The motor is a Walker Turner, but it too was missing its badge, so I don't know what the HP is.
The quill bearings were cleaned, soaked, and repacked using a grease needle. They work nicely, I did not run it before working them over, so I truly don't know if it's better than it was before or not.
I painted it Pontiac Blue engine paint. Gray was too boring for this machine, plus there are enough nice examples of the machine around that I did not feel obligated to make a museum piece out of it.
If there ever was a Delta tag, I don't know where it would have been, there is only one hole on the right side, and no holes on the left for the tag. It had the original paint, and I did not see a shadow where the tag would have been. An unsolved mystery right now.
It’s my “daily driver” and I love it.
Thanks for looking.
