This little 4" Bench Jointer is a really cute little machine made by the Crescent Machine Company. It was introduced to the Crescent line in 1916 and offered at least into the mid 1930's. To give some scale to the size of this machine, in the pictures below it is sitting on the top of my 12" Crescent Jointer.
